How can my class re-enter a task across multiple lessons?
Teachers can pause a session across all Thinking Mode tasks and quickly allow students to re-enter a task at a later stage.
Here's how it works:
1) Pause session
Use the "pause session" button when in the task overview screen. You can also pause individual students.

2) End-of-lesson instructions
If you want your class to continue a task at a later stage, simply press "End-of-lesson instructions".

3) Student re-entry options
You can then choose how students re-enter their task:

Note that the "students emailing themselves" option requires a school-based account and a Coordinator must manually enable this option for your organisation. Our system only processes the student email to send the re-entry link; we do not store any student emails.
More information for how Coordinators can turn on this feature can be found here.
4) Re-entry process:
In the next lesson, have students use their re-entry link or code to continue with the task. The unique link will take them directly to their session, or they can enter their code on the Thinking Mode homepage — a single code made of letters and numbers, where capitals matter.

5) Resume Task:
Once you are ready, simply resume the task for all students:

If the re-entry doesn’t work
The student is locked out. A re-entry code won’t get them past a lockout — they’ll see the locked screen instead. Press Readmit next to their name first, then let them re-enter.
The code is case-sensitive. Capitals and lower-case are different — for example,
tQkSGeis not the same astqksge.
