For Canvas integration, Thinking Mode requires a Canvas admin to complete the following steps. It allows teachers and students to log in to Thinking Mode through Canvas using the LTI 1.3 standard. It also allows teachers to post Thinking Mode files and transcripts back to the LMS as submissions in the relevant Canvas assignment.
We are happy to assist with this process. If you have any questions or would like guidance through the installation, please email: hello@thinkingmode.com
Data Privacy
All data is processed and stored according to our Privacy Policy. We do not pull personally identifying information from Canvas, such as names or email addresses. Instead, Canvas sends an opaque user ID for us to match returning teachers and students. We also receive the user's role (such as "Student" or "Instructor").
Teachers enter their full name, email address and organisation when launching through Canvas into Thinking Mode for the first time.
Students enter their first name when launching into each activity for the first time.

| Step 10: After you have emailed us, we will respond within 2 business days to confirm it is configured and ready for you to test. Now, clicking “Thinking Mode” in course navigation will allow you to log in to Thinking Mode. Please test that you can successfully create an assignment as a teacher to confirm that it is working as expected. |
